MOT CENTRE (All makes)
Corona virus and your MOT
During these unusual times I’m writing to explain the MOT procedure for your Land Rover.
We would normally book you in for a MOT during the month before your MOT expirey date. Due to the Corona virus, DVSA have allowed cars that still hold a current MOT on the 1st April to have their MOT automatically extended for six months. Your vehicle may fall into that category, but what the DVSA also rightly states is that although your MOT has been extended, you may still be prosecuted if you drive a vehicle deemed unroadworthy.
At this stage we are continuing to send MOT reminder messages and emails out to our customers to inform you that we are still operating and able to carry out your vehicles service and/or MOT. We can arrange contactless drop off and collection or if you are self-isolating we can offer a free of charge collection and return service.
We do also have a basic checklist over on our Facebook page (@cwfelthamltd) that you can do at home to help you check your vehicles safety during the extension period. We can also assist you via WhatsApp (07785564096 this number is only for WhatsApp messaging, if you wish to talk to us then please use the main number 01278741372) if you have any concerns about your vehicle.
We are following stricter protocols here at C.W. Feltham Ltd to protect ourselves and our customers, therefore it is imperative that you phone or email us first so that we can discuss your needs and requirements and be able to adhere to social distancing guidance.
We wish you well during this time, keep safe and please do contact us regarding any concerns with your vehicle.
We are pleased to announce that our purpose built MoT centre is now open for business.
